I really hope Sleepy Hollow gets it’s ratings back it makes no sense for the ratings to be that low. Please Sleepyheads watch tomorrow Live and DVR it.

I am hoping for the show’s sake that it was the first week back and a 1/3 of its audience forgot and that is easy to do. The next episode will tell us what to expect. Usually premieres kick ass out of pure curiosity alone.

It probably didn’t help that On Demand had “Sleepy Hollow” synced up with “Gotham” in some areas so that it ran as one 90 minute program instead of two 45 minute ones. I’m guessing a lot of people couldn’t find it, or saw the credits rolling on Gotham and stopped watching.

I’m delighted by how much positive buzz “The Flash” is getting.

I actually really liked Adam. He adored and respected Kurt, I think if the writers gave it more time they could have fallen in love big time. I hate that they dismissed it all for Klaine.

For lovejoybliss’s Anon who wanted Kurt/Mike.  This is a little ficlet I wrote for the prompt word “Thousand” that I put in the same universe as my long Kurt/Mike story “Everything Old is New Again”.  Any characters or names you don’t recognize can be found in that story.  :)

Read my recently reblogged thing about adding potential characters to tag on FFN. ;)

Thanks for the info!  I was mostly just shocked that after three seasons and at least half a dozen episodes featuring her as part of Rachel and/or Kurt’s NYADA storyline, nobody had ever added Carmen Tibideaux to the character tags.

You know that’s something wrong with a show when a character like Kurt Hummel has no real friends to support him.

I think Blaine didn´t cheat on purpose. He wanted to set Kurt free so he could date while Blaine´s not in NYC

LOL “Accidental” cheating? That’s a new one. Did he trip and fall on Eli’s dick? Wonder how many times he’s “tripped” since then? I’m betting MANY.

Nonnie, if you go back and watch that scene, Blaine is ANGRY at Kurt that he wouldn’t take his call. It’s pretty clear he’s decided to cheat to HURT Kurt. Blaine also later tells Sam that he realized right after he did it that he really wanted Kurt.
If Blaine wanted to set Kurt free, he could have broken up with him. Better yet, he could have written him a detailed e-mail explaining his frustration and fears and anything else he wanted. But he didn’t. No, it wasn’t something he didn’t really mean to do. He’d obviously been accepting this guy’s flirty messages…the same type of cheating he accused Kurt of with Chandler, remember? When he accused Kurt of cheating and sang an angry song about it in front of their friends?
Yes, I think Blaine did cheat on purpose, deliberately, to hurt Kurt. He probably realized as soon as he did that it was a horrible thing to do. To Kurt, to himself, and to Eli.
Do you remember how angry Blaine got when Kurt DID date Adam? He didn’t like it. Blaine has never wanted to set Kurt free. He wants the convenience of having someone he can marry to make a political statement, even though he doesn’t seem sexually attracted to Kurt. Soulmates, yeah right. Blaine is a user. He’s used Kurt, he used Eli, also Sam and Tina, all to feed his ego. Now he’s going to use Dave. If that’s the kind of guy you want to admire, have at it.

I remember desperate people using this argument a lot back when the cheating first happened. “Oh, Blaine didn’t actually cheat!  He just told Kurt he had cheated so that Kurt could be free to live his new life. Blaine is too noble!”  Then Glee threw in the flashback where we see Blaine putting his clothes back on after sleeping with the guy. Oops. Then there was a lot of grumbling about how Kurt (selfish rent-paying bastard) had to have driven him to it. After all, Blaine blamed his actions on Kurt, so naturally he must be correct and it was Kurt’s fault he got cheated on. The excuse changes, but the entitlement stays the same.

I wish the fanfiction.net readers would understand the tag-system is for characters, not ships. If Blaine has a featuring/speaking part in my fics, I will tag him, even if he’s not written as fanon!cupcake!Blaine.

So far anons have been pretty respectful though :)

Doesn’t…

Not as far as I know. When I upload a story, I can only choose characters that are in the story, but cannot specify their relationship (so I do that in the summaries). I know other archives have a ship filter.

It’s silly though- when it says “characters: Kurt H., Blaine A.” the Klainers all assume it’s a klaine-positive ship story….I wonder if they think my “Kurt H. & Burt H.” stories are about incest??

But the way you filter is exactly why I list Blaine. Some people don’t want to read about him at all, lol or not, and they can filter him out this way.

Ah, I see.  I’ve never used it, but I knew there was a little check box that says “Pairing” so I thought that was for relationships.

I’m not really sure what that checkbox does, to be honest. It’s only in the search filter area, not in the author area. Maybe it “pairs” the fields above it (wanted characters) with below (unwanted characters) like a double filter?

I just tested it by searching for a few unusual “ships by choosing 2 characters and ticking “pairing”  (Kurt & Azimo, Kurt & Sandy Reyerson, etc) and none of them were actually shippy. They just had both characters (and usually various others).

Anyone out there more familiar with fanfiction.net? :)

There should be a check box in the author area for you to click cuz it does pair them together. If you see stories where there are [these things] around the two characters that means they’re a romantic pairing. Problem is, it varies from fandom to fandom how many people actually use that option

oooooooh…it’s not a checkbox. It’s a dropdown! o.O I had never seen that before (which means I never checked any pairing- so they should all be on neutral? none of them have [ .. ] ). I’m going to edit all of my fics now to include it.
Sorry, I feel slightly stupid! But it’s never too late to learn :D

I just looked and I had only tagged a couple of mine as being a Kurt and Adam pairing, so I tagged a few more but I still am not done.

It seems like you cannot tag a character in multiple couples though.

That is helpful to know. I put a little pic of Kurt and Adam as the icon on any Kadam stories I published on ff.net (most of those fics are only available on Tumblr) because I didn’t think there was a ship option. Maybe there wasn’t back when I first put them up. I may have to change that. :)

The problem here is that these squealing man-children, so desperate to keep women out of their precious games, want it both ways. They want gaming to be taken seriously as a culture and art form, while at the same time throwing an unbelievable tantrum when subjected to serious criticism. This is ludicrous and immature on so many levels. Gaming isn’t for you, anymore. Gaming is for everyone. Everyone gets to have their say, to make their criticism, and gaming doesn’t need you to defend it.

The only thing left for these people to do is put their toys back in the pram and huddle together as the tide rises against them, until they wake up in five year’s time and realise that Assassin’s Creed 7 was actually a pretty good game, even though they had to waste three precious seconds flicking the gender over to ‘male’ on the character creation screen so they can feel comfortable again. Change is inevitable, especially when half of the freaking gamers in the country are women and actually want to play some games that don’t treat them like disposable trash.

So, here’s another change for you: if you really think feminism, or women, are destroying games, or that LGBT people and LGBT relationships have no place in games, or that games in any way belong to you or are “under attack” from political correctness or “social justice warriors”: please leave this website. I don’t want your clicks, I don’t want your hits, I don’t want your traffic. Leave now and please don’t come back.

Rough Trade Santa doesn’t have a character filter on fanfiction.net? Boo! :(

Edit: Carmen Tibideaux doesn’t either? :(

There’s no Carmen?  That’s ridiculous.  Some of the names available I don’t recognize and a I assume it’s because they were one-off characters who were never seen again (so Santa Cody should qualify), but Carmen has been in at least 6 episodes!
